Overview

Recruitology offers a comprehensive recruiting marketing platform, integrating customizable job board software, programmatic job advertising, and applicant tracking powered by AI.

The company had a long-term objective of updating its corporate website because it was designed several years ago. In fact, effective design can directly influence how online users perceive the validity and effectiveness of the company. 46% of consumers determine your company's credibility based on the visual appeal and design aesthetics of your website. Additionally, 38% of people will stop engaging with your website if its content or layout lacks appeal.

The aim of this project was to refresh the brand and present it in a more aesthetically appealing design.

The Problem

The corp site is outdated since it has not been updated for a while. The messaging was too generic, the design was outdated; technical improvements was required as well since legacy codes became obsolete. Moreover, the marketing team would like to get more qualified leads to improve their sales.

The Challenge

Revamping was challenging since we had to account for existing page structure, stakeholder’s expectation while adding a new perspective to generate buzz. Another challenge was that we didn’t have enough of engineer resources as our developers were occupied with other on-going projects. How can we seamlessly improve corp site without getting much of help from engineer resources?

What I did

  • I was in charge of UI/UX design of the project.
  • Unified the design system and developed brand guidelines.
  • Restructured the website through content grouping, site mapping, and UI refinements.
  • Led the corp site migration to Webflow, enabling non-technical users to make seamless updates and reducing the need for extensive engineering involvement. This optimization significantly enhances the company's efficiency and agility in managing the website.

Impact/ Outcome

  • Site has fresh, polished, and modern appearance.
  • Emphasize consistency improvements by setting branding guidelines.
  • Reduced cognitive overload in design by prioritizing essential information.
  • Marketing team can make content updates and implement SEO using a custom CMS.
